As you can see, we have many black and white and all black cats right now. For some strange reason these beautiful creatures are often overlooked. They have so much love to give and just want love in return. Please give these too often passed over kitties a second look and your consideration.

Sammy and Whiskey are both about a year and a half old. Sammy is the black and white female and Whiskey is the orange tabby male. They were both left behind in an apartment complex. They are both very sweet and loving and love to play! When I let them out of their cage to stretch they love to run around! They jump after toy mice, pounce on each other and love to "get loving" from me. These are two special sweethearts.

I hate seeing the older cats having to find new homes. As you can imagine it's the kittens who get adopted pretty quickly, so when I see a new cat come in who is older I pray their time with us will be short. This is Pooh Bear. She is about eleven-years-old. Her owner could no longer keep her for some reason. She's a little scared. Please don't be intimidated by her age. Cats who are taken care of can sometimes live up into their early twenties! She deserves to find a safe, quiet and loving home to call her own.

Cyber an eight-year-old female who is looking for a new home because she didn't get along with her other kitty roommates. She needs to be the only cat in the household. She's a little nervous about her new surroundings in the store (you can tell from the two pictures I took of her). She took comfort though in being petted. She's a loving girl to people and just needs a chance.

These two kitties were found outside of Esperanza High School. My nephew graduated from there so I have a special fondness for these two. I sometimes refer to them as the "Esperanza Kitties." Tabitha (female) is the one who has more white on her body, or if you're looking at the picture of the two of them together Toby is the one on top. Toby (male) is the more outgoing of the two. He likes to run around and chase toys if you toss them for him. Tabitha loves to play too but is still really shy. They love playing together (and wrestling together). That's why we'd really like to find them a home together. They'll need someone who will be patient with them and will let them (especially Tabitha) come out of their shell at their own pace. These sweeties are worth it though!

Tom Tom is a black and white male who is about two-years-old. He was rescued as a stray, but I think someone must have loved him at some point. He's a big sweetie! He loves to be pet, he likes to climb up into your lap and he loves to play with his toy mice. He enjoys playing but he's also a pretty mellow guy. He's looking for someone he can give all of his love to.

This beautiful torti colored kitty's name is Mystic. She's about 14 1/2 years old. She had been living in the same home since she was a kitten. Sadly she had to be given up because the owner's third child was allergic. She doesn't like being in the store as you can imagine and is very scared there. Once she feels safe and secure she is very loving, loves to be held and get attention. She needs a loving and quiet home where she can live out her twilight years.

This poor little guy is so scared. He's slowly coming out of his shell though. His name is Opie. He was found crying in a yard all alone. He is about four months old. He needs someone who will be patient with him and give him the chance to feel safe. He needs a quiet home with no small children. He would love other kitties to play with. Right now he feels more comfortable with other cats then with humans. But we're quickly winning him over with love, patience and kitty treats (and canned kitty food, which he loves)!
UPDATE Opie was adopted out for awhile but sadly he is back with us again looking for a new home. They felt Opie was too shy and they weren't going to be around enough to bring him out of his shell. He is such a sweetheart and just needs someone to be patient with him, love him and give him a chance. He loves to scratched behind the ears and stroked softly. He is now about eight months old. I will have an updated picture of him soon.
For questions about Opie please call Peg at (909) 865-1465.
These two handsome boys are Cookie and Pepe. Cookie is the mostly white cat with black fur. He's five years old. Pepe is the mostly black cat with the black spot on his nose. He's three years old. Both of them lost their home when their owners moved to Texas and couldn't take them with them. Cookie loves to be petted but is nervous in new situations and will hide until he feels comfortable. Pepe is friendly and loves attention. They're both very loving and want to be in a safe and permanent home.

Jasmina is a 1 1/2 year old gray tabby who is a bit shy but very sweet. She was rescued from living a hard life on the streets while she was pregnant. She gave birth to her kittens several months back and is now seeing them get adopted. Now it's her turn. She would like to be the only cat in the household. She needs someone who will be patient with her because she is a little scared and just needs someone to love and trust. She is a real sweetheart!
